I have to ask you, @NeuroRebel, how would you handle a salesperson knocking on your door, not taking "no" for an answer, insisting on some sort of in-person chit-chat about your "options" for what they're selling? I'll give more info in follow-up tweets.

This sales-guy who works at a Swedish alarm-service company, he came to my door two days ago. Told him I didn't have time. He insisted it was worth my time. Told him I could look any relevant info up online. He said that the deals online wouldn't match in-person sign-up deals.

At this point, as someone on the spectrum, I'm on my proverbial back foot and almost falling over. From the get-go, he spoke Swedish (of course, this is Sweden), but we switched to English, so I was already at a social disadvantage. I agree to talk with a sales rep tonight.

If it weren't for my partner willing to stand up for me tonight (he was at work at the time the earlier stuff happened), I don't know what I'd do. I'd probably sign up for something then cancel later just to get them the fuck out of my living room.
