Death Race was a sprite swap of Destruction Derby (aka Demolition Derby), so for the magical transition between them I just manually recreated the computer-car sprites from existing screenshots and then manually animated them in After Effects.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kRQ2OEJkNY&t=75s …

I have access to an Atari Tank arcade game with PCB if something is needed from that still.

As terrible as my memory is, I believe
@bitsavers ended up scanning his own manual last year. I'm pretty sure all of the relevant sprite BPROMs are dumped, so emulation-wise it's just a matter of speed improvements and bug fixes in the netlist transcription.

I wonder if this is something that arcade collectors/historians like
@CatDeSpira may be able to help out on? Sounds like even just scans of the schematic pages would be a huge help. -
I mean, yeah, absolutely! Things like DIP-switch settings (or, given the vintage, rotary-switch settings) are useful, but other than that, just the BOM and schematics are really needed to get going on transcribing the netlist of a TTL game that already has its BPROMs dumped.
