Bit of an odd question, but if you see someone on LinkedIn who is marked as a 3rd-degree connection to you, is there any way - any way at all - to see who that 2nd-degree connection is, so you can associate them back to your known 1st-degree connection?

I have never understood the attraction to LinkedIn. I never will. I'm okay with that.
My only interest in LinkedIn is as a venue for investigating someone who has been relentlessly harassing the MAME team and other, only loosely-associated, contributors, for the past year. I have absolutely no interesting whatsoever in using LinkedIn for its intended purposes.

I frankly despise the site, but this is one of the only promising leads. I know my 1st-level contacts, and this potential person is listed as a 3rd-level contact. So I want to know who this 2nd-level contact is, and which of my 1st-level contact it is they know, which joins us.
