No place to do voice/video/stream chat? That seems so antisocial these days. Of course I totally get the aversion to doing voice or video, I'm pretty shy around it too, but it's one of the features, so why not offer it?
Nowhere that's both welcoming and open. It seems like these days, you either deal with a server that throws the doors open to a bunch of fascists or fascist-adjunct, or you can just piss off and stew in your own misery.

That's such a quintessential, self-centered open-source advocate position that I don't even know where to begin. But. I'll try. What you're essentially saying is "Go fuck off to an even darker corner with your already-limited circle and suffer outside the view of the rest of us"
