Trying to get Windows CE 3.x booting on an emulated HP Jornada 720 has quite honestly been the most tedious thing I've tried to emulate so far. I have pages and pages of notes, yet am no closer to figuring out why the boot process suddenly goes sideways.

It isn't, but there's an executable-based installer for the HPC2000 SDK, which is the one I need. I'm downloading it now and going to see if it's possible to manually extract, because as much as I trust @textfiles, I don't trust a random EXE found on the IA

Seems that WinRAR was able to extract it due the nature of the ZIP file format. Still glad I actually bought a license.

Maybe I'm just tired, but it seems pretty thin on the ground in terms of relevant info. I should hit the hay and look at it with a fresh pair of eyes tomorrow, just like I've been doing for a week now.

only remember by simile, the psdk's were similarly organized and in the ce psdk there were also bsps and bootloaders where the vga and storage drivers were in the regular psdk. it's been a long time :)
