It def was amazing for 20 years ago. Back in the day I thought Reboot was one of these best animation styles I'm back to more traditional and anime but CG can still be cool.
Reboot gets a lot of flak these days, but given that it came out in '94 and ran until '99 (we don't talk about Season 4), it was both a product of its time and honestly straight-up awesome.

Toy Story only hit screens a year later in '95, and Reboot was episodic, not something that could be handled as an all-in-one production. Mainframe Entertainment themselves were pretty excellent as well: Did you know that they did the CG for Money For Nothing in the 80's?

Fun fact, during the Season 1 (I believe) episode introducing Captain Capacitor, you can even see "I Want My MTV" scratched into the back of one of the jail cells as graffiti.
