Looking for suggestions on what laptop to get for a friend. I'm after something that's good enough to run reasonably modern games on reasonable-ish settings. Not some top-end, more-money-than-sense, whiz-bang, RGB-LED, tarted-up monstrosity. Limit is 10k SEK, less preferred.

Don't get a laptop from HP, that's for sure. You already got an earful (eyeful?) of how irritating it was to deal with the gpu settings on mine, but in addition to that, the right hinge broke after less than 2 years Also apparently HP doesn't have good customer support\service?
