Back to coding during this weekend + vacation (so far): Good news: My MAME driver for the Jornada 720 now manages to enable the ARM MMU without violently exploding. Bad news: After a short while, MAME dies with a SIGFPE in the CPU core. How the fuck. It doesn't even use FP.

not sure if it applies to your case, but IIRC SIGFPE is raised in a few other edge cases such as abs(INT_MIN)
