Curious about folks' thoughts here, particularly @IndieGamerChick - For DMD pins specifically, Williams or Stern?

I'm not a huge fan of modern Stern games, which overly rely on multiball without any sense of flow about them. The majority of modern Sterns are Pick 'n Flick-style tables, which CAN be good, but they're also limited. I'm not being a retro hipster: 80s/90s Willaims/Bally are..

peak era tables where you had a dream team of designers (one of whom turned out to be a child molester but that's neither here nor there) who combined incredible concepts with nuanced scoring and rules and a sense of flow that that has gone missing in recent years.

My Dad, a world-caliber pinball player, also considers 1979 - 1998 to be the Golden Age of Pinball, where the tables were both made to be timeless (as opposed to video games, which are made to be a product of the time they came out) but also (mostly) be accessible by all players.

I love pinball, although I'll admit to being casual and not very good. Lol. But my favorite tables have to be the ones I played while waiting tables. Indiana Jones and Addams Family. Just pure fun, not too hard, not super simple. Thoughts?

Addams Family is the best selling table of all time for a reason. I mean it's also a cosmic timing fluke (literally whatever the top table that came out at that specific time would have been fated to break all the records, it just happened to be Addams Family). Indiana is.. um..
