If every movie had its actors pegged at the same age as the actors, then that would definitely be a compelling argument.

In reply to a now-deleted tweet: It could also be a protagonist who is retconned as being in his 20's during the 1930's, since Hollywood doesn't seem to give much of a damn about age representation, but alright.
