Only using a 144hz refresh monitor have I been able to get close to the sync rate of classic gaming setups. Lag is real.
When I can get a 50" TV that supports 144Hz or above for less than the price of a used Volvo, call me. My preferred "workstation" is actually my computer hooked up to my TV and a wireless keyboard. Anything requiring me to sit at a desk in my own home is a no-go. :(
Not any time soon. The most reasonable VRR option I was able to get was 27" and that was only because prices came down quite a bit on those this year.
I understand. My high refresh monitor is pretty small. Can’t afford a bigger one.
