Random question but why do a lot of internet weirdos seem to simp Keanu Reeves a lot, I know he’s a very good actor and all and seems to be a kind man, but I don’t understand the idolization the internet seems to give him

It depends on how you want to approach it, as he's a respectable fellow regardless, but the personal reasons might depend on what age demographic you fall into.

For the older Millennials and above, he's someone who was initially typecast as the airheaded stoner/hippie type, starting with his role in the Bill & Ted series, followed by roles in Point Break and Speed, but managed to break out of that mold.

To that end, he represents the concept of being able to break outside of the stereotypical mold that other people have made for you. For years he was viewed as little more than an acting punch-line, but was able to go so far beyond that in later years.

Apart from that, he's shown by his actions to be a kind-hearted, charitable person. Despite the bucks he's made from various films like The Matrix series and the John Wick series, he gave away a large portion of his points from The Matrix in order to benefit the SFX crews.
