yup! i was Pretty Good at Guitar Hero. Never had a flat-screen when I played it. Didn't even have component cables. But the first time I played on a flat screen with a wireless guitar I was god awful and thought it was my fault.
(it is, in fact, the TV's fault though)
Even with my nerve damage, I can tell the difference between a proper 480i-capable TV and any HDTV on the Wii version of Mega Man 9. It's basically unplayable on a non-CRT TV on the Wii version.
it also happened to be at a 'competition' (one other person) at a bar, so it was extra embarrassing.
