A framebuffer is still one frame of lag... there should be, like... a linebuffer.
I can deal with a definite frame of lag. If we can all agree that there's going to be exactly 16.67ms of video lag, then I can program that shit into the game's calibration mode and be happy. But there isn't, and that's bullshit.
Oh well ya, I guess that works for a music game, but in general I'd prefer to have even less lag.
