I can write copy with the best of 'em, have a decent enough narration voice, and have memories of the emulation scene dating back to the 90's, but it's not like I'm going to find some skilled video editor chomping at the bit to edit videos for something nobody really cares about.

I'd love to do the history on the Model2 emulator someday. I've been monitoring it since it's first screenshots and find it's progress quite fascinating.

Same, even if I were to farm out other bits I want to see every part once to understand it, even if I don't want to do it again. These days I just feel so tired I can't bring myself to start.

Exactly this. And to an extent, it helps me understand where
@MameHaze is coming from. Yes, absolutely, more time can be spent on making flashier, better-edited videos. But then that eats into the time that can be spent on actually emulating things. - Näytä vastaukset

I'm not sure I'd say abuse, although maybe over-compensation. I struggle to be independent in many ways others manage just fine, so in my own way I balance that out by not relying on others in different ways.

Also there's a certain autistic element to it I think, social burnout - bringing more people on board means having to manage more unpredictable things, not let other people down if things don't work out. Again a lot of it is just trying to prevent becoming overloaded with that.
