Has anyone ever encountered an issue with Windows 10 where audio randomly stops working over time? It only seems to be associated with having my Blue Yeti microphone connected as an external audio DAC.

Yes. And for some reason (for me) it varies between users on the same PC. Audio out just won't work sometimes for my partner, but when I log in or just reset, it's fine.

For some reason, Zoom seems to exacerbate the issue. Until now I've not had the need to use it, so I've only had to reboot every 1.5-2 days, but I've literally had the audio stack die 4 times in the span of 45 minutes. It's infuriating.

Ahh that's interesting. It's not Zoom for us. Usually it's when we try to use Spotify, but all audio out just doesn't work. Been happening for a while although I can't remember the last time it was an issue...

The issue I have is that in order to use my headphones, I have to switch the primary audio device over to the DAC supplied by my
@BlueMicrophones Yeti since my workstation is like 9ft away from me. But Windows takes great umbrage to switching audio devices, apparently.1 vastaus 0 uudelleentwiittausta 0 tykkäystä -

Hi, folks! I appreciate you reaching out, but I've since updated Windows and haven't had any troubles since Friday. Admittedly, I haven't really done much switching between my primary output and the Yeti, but I'll keep you posted if things go south.
