I believe in fixing the issue at the source, by providing the ICs all the current they need even when they pump like crazy using carefully chosen capacitor values and placement?
The implication was that I was wrong based on the perceived need to question it at all. You absolutely know more about analog principles than I do, so if it won't work, then how and why? I'm open to the fact that I may be - in fact, probably am - wrong, so why not educate?

To me, your response came off as a dismissal of what I was suggesting, without any context to say how or why it was being dismissed in your mind. In retrospect, yeah, it was probably a pretty faulty suggestion, but I still don't quite know the principles as to why. That's all.

I just wanted to know how did you come up with the solution you proposed, because I thought I was missing something, or I didn't understand the problem correctly. No facial expressions, no voice tone, no troll-y punctuation. Just a simple question :/

I still think that you're not feeling great right now. You just went off about a simple question :( Honeslty, as someone who's constantly in fear about sounding like those "know-it-all console tech forum smartasses", this kind of hurts.
