I'm going to be really aggro here and suggest that most of you objecting to the the lampooning done by the new Animaniacs series being "too political" can basically fuck right off, and that it's been a series at the forefront of political satire for as long as us 35+ can remember
Partially but not entirely agreed. "PC nuts" is a pretty broad term, can you narrow it down a little?

From what I observe in my own life, people are tending to focus on words, especially buzz words and not on the context, tone of voice, or other variables contributing to the way its said, such as the person saying it/their personality.

Building on this, anything which someone might deem to be one of these key (offensive) buzz words or taboo topics is pounced upon. Well, satire, and perhaps sarcasm, have been used for thousands of years to emphasise or to illustrate a point through contrast.

I remember a video on a man wearing a fake moustache and a sombrero, and Mexicans he interviewed loved it. They were happy. But many non-Mexican, young white university girls were deeply offended.
