I don't agree with the inherent labeling of the link as NSFW, because it's not, but a cartoon that has gay characters as an incidental aspect of it versus a community that has heavily involved poorly-drawn lewd images for 30+ years kind of beggars belief.
Personally, I'm not down for any of the lewd stuff these days, I'm more aligned with the ace crowd, but trying to erase the long-standing association of the community with porn has no more validity than trying to erase the long-standing part of the community that doesn't.
