Same energy as any cartoon with gay characters being accused of being pornographic by 'concerned parents'
I don't agree with the inherent labeling of the link as NSFW, because it's not, but a cartoon that has gay characters as an incidental aspect of it versus a community that has heavily involved poorly-drawn lewd images for 30+ years kind of beggars belief.

Personally, I'm not down for any of the lewd stuff these days, I'm more aligned with the ace crowd, but trying to erase the long-standing association of the community with porn has no more validity than trying to erase the long-standing part of the community that doesn't.

Think you forgot some words there. In any case, I don't see the relevancy of that at all. I'm sure you're well aware that (a) the article doesn't have any lewd images in it and (b) associating entire communities with sexual behaviour like that is literally what I'm talking about
