The existing system regularly shits out people who have absolutely zero critical-thinking skills, and is continuously under pressure to increase that number. "Sympathize with the stupid, for if you call them out on their stupidity, they'll double-down on it" is ridiculous.
They didn't come to their conspiratorial beliefs through logic in the first place, so we can pretty much write anything involving logic right out of this potential dialogue. How, then, do we reason these people out of a position they didn't reason themselves into?
