I mean.. shit, I'm famous. Sorta. I have genuine influence among makers of games and have earned the respect of my peers and admiration of fans of all orientations, identifications, and creed. I'm not perfect by any means, but I feel I've been a net-positive for women in gaming.
That *is* taking up the feminist cause. Just not in the "everyone look at me" way that some people unfortunately confer a nonsensical value upon. I wish well to the people who have the luxury of visibly taking up a cause, but the rest of us don't have that kind of time.
