People are woefully unaware of the abilities and importance of MAME...
It's not peoples' fault, though. It's our, the MAME team's, fault. We're collectively terrible at self-promotion. The team's hands-off attitude of "Do cool things, wait for attention" was only applicable in the late 90's and early aughts when people still looked for content.
