The unfortunate thing about RetroArch making thousands of bucks a month off the back of other emulator developers who don't see a dime? I could download, decode, analyze, and encode a swath of Laserdisc games for use in MAME if I had a capable enough Ryzen machine.
It was originally RetroArch. Then they decided to split into "RetroArch" and "libretro", presumably to encourage people to engage in exactly the sorts of pointless semantic arguments that you're engaging in right now. It doesn't matter.

I didn't know I was engaging in an argument. I love MAME. I follow you because you are a MAME dev. I didn't know what you were talking about with the whole RetroArch thing. Now you're mad at me?
