I find it super-hard to do co-op these days, one person gets busy or races ahead, also a problem for things like Diablo-likes. Best co-op I've had recently is more bit-size and low persistence, like Streets of Rage 4 or Overcooked 2.
I should probably just delete my install of Stardew Valley. Every time I try to complete a year on a modded server, the people I'm playing with just bail midway through the year. Even when it's their own server I'm playing on. Screw all this.
