What's the easiest way these days to make an animated GIF from multiple individual frames?
Has The GIMP gotten any more usable in the past 10-15 years? I remember trying it out circa 2004/5 or so and it was a UX nightmare.

GIMP's UI is never going to be particularly good and I even think that the explosion of options in the latest version has cluttered things up a bunch. but it's still better than when I first started using it around that time too
