You're totally right, by the way. The ADC can have up to 8 channels. So there's all your analog controls.

I've got the ADC updated to function more as the datasheet says it should. I'll test and commit later this evening.

Alright, thank you for looking at it, hopefully it'll actually start reading the ports in game too now and we can get it all working.

No sweat. Currently all I've managed to do is break jak_sith, but just as a heads-up, it's probably going to need some tweaking in the jakks_gkr analog hookups. jak_sith apparently uses channels 2 and (presumably) 3, not 0 and 1.

noted, I wonder if this might make it possible to hook up the 'wheel' on wheel of fortune too rather than relying simply on the button alternative, although it's been a long time since I looked at that one. not much hooks up to the ADC at present, so not too much to check.

Annoyingly, jak_sith now responds to movements of the joystick to the left, but not to the right. Investigating.

maybe opposing directions are actually different channels? although I don't recall any arcade games working that way
