If I'm somehow tasked with raising children, they're learning a game of strategy or something. Or at least not having unfettered access to the internet for a while. Hopefully figure out what their hobbies are and encourage them to develop them. They should be better than me.
Thank you! Someone else who's sane. My birth pre-dated the Internet by about a decade. That in and of itself isn't some great accomplishment, but at least I wasn't raised by nursery rhymes in heavily-accented English with wrong grammar.
Sane is a strong word, I'm a heck of a scatterbrain. :B I've pretty much been around computers or the internet as long as I can remember, but the landscape changed so much. Everything's convenient now, but that's double-edged. I miss the days of scattered personal websites, tbh.
Hoo, you and me both. I remember cutting my teeth on various emulation websites back in the mid to late 90's, tracking down individual emulators, ROM archives, that sort of thing. It probably sounds weird, but sometimes I miss those days.
