In my defence, she blocked me first, and I have a general policy of block-for-block. If she's willing to have a reasonable discussion I'd be only too happy to unblock. I do recognise that my initial tweets were pretty shitty, and I unreservedly apologise for that.

I just wish that we could have discussed things as Patricia and I did. I do not at all deny that the Swedish gov't can do better. I just feel that it's also natural to want to claw at the mylar-thin silver lining as a defence mechanism.

1/ First, I've lifted the block. I was emotional and being a complete ass. Second, I agree the government needs to lock things down because the latency in reporting paints a rosier picture than really exists, misleading people into thinking it's safer to go out than it really is.

2/ Third, I've had people try to tell me that the Swedish government can't declare a stay-at-home order due to laws. Well, the Karensdag was a law too, one that Riksdagen worked around. Why then is a stay-at-home order untenable? It's not.
