Where n is the band index. A and B are derived to ensure that the final band index gives the last bin index and that the low bands use more than one bin.
n is the band index < N. The result is the first bin of the next band. A and B control the shape of the banding. B can be set as: B=(ln(S/A))/(N-1) This will ensure all bins are used. A can then be chosen as the number of bins in band 0.
