I prefer to frame it as hiring for "values fit" over "culture fit"—"culture" is like "we like sports and beer" vs "we like board games and tea", whereas both could share values like kindness and helpfulness (or not)
The "culture fit" sword swings both ways. @ArrowheadGS has a culture of kind, helpful and respectful people who are encouraged to speak up if they see something that's not right. And they hire people who are a good fit.
