One major take-away from trying to record the lines I've written for my opening YouTube channel video on emulation: There's a hell of a lot of difference between what looks good when written, and what sounds good when said.

Some of the best TV presenters I’ve worked with read aloud as they write. Also, commas are difficult cult to read, and sub confusing very quickly. Short sentences are always good.
So's your tweet! Har, har! But seriously, though, you're right on the mark. I'm going to re-write this whole shit-show while reading it aloud to myself tomorrow.

Seriously, I do appreciate the advice. Writing something while reading it aloud is something that's never occurred to me. I tend to write things while reading it in my inner monologue, which as it happens, has more lung capacity than I do.
