I'm working on a blog post about dsp/filtering. I'm thinking about making an interactive demo (adjust coefficients, see freq/phase response, poles & zeroes) with web assembly, and also letting you hear the filter's effect on some sounds via web audio. Tech choices good or bad?

I'm trying to limit the scope but bringing the things to 2d (and understanding how z transform etc extends to 2d) is on the long term to-do list for sure. Btw know anything about that? Poles/zeroes/z transform in 2d (or higher) for textures?

I know absolutely nothing. My experience with being a GPU programmer started in 2009 and ended in 2013.
