There's a post in there from
@randombler about the Quantel Mirage. TBH Bob the issue with the Paintbox emulator is one of time and effort, it's a very complex thing to emulate.
The good news is, I'm taking a month off for holiday vacation, so I should have a surfeit of time to look at Paintbox emulation. Fingers crossed!

I did some of the Paintbox SW, mainly behind the scenes stuff - disk handling etc, RTOS for V series, and could contact project Chief Engineer. Happy to answer questions.

Thanks! I've had you in mind for when we have some hard questions. Until the emulator is advanced enough and is starting to boot i wouldn't know what to ask! If we make a load of progress i might even blow the dust off my real DPB7000.
