As a public queer furry who used to be on SA, I was doxxed in a Helldump thread before the term 'doxxing' existed, over being an idiot when I was a teenager, something clearly none of them ever were, which led to not speaking to my parents for 5 years. So yeah, I hold a grudge.
If you manage to actually survive on that forum and don't get excoriated, fucking good for you, but to demean people who were openly treated like shit is just beyond the pale.
It's absolutely phenomenal that a bunch of great, open-minded leftists got their start on SA, but let's not try to white-wash the site's history. I own the dumb shit I did when I was a kid, they should fucking well own their asinine behavior.
