My parents helped fund my first fursuit, when I was 17. I was given money to Christmas to help go for that.
My dad also used his PayPal, because I was too young to have one myself.
My family has always been supportive. My older brother, @ThePiloseOne joined the fandom too.
My mom helped me build my first suit at 17.
She was initially reticent about the whole furry thing, but after some good conversations she came to realize what a welcoming community it can be.
