In my experience, I tend to type with such force that mechanical keyboards go all clickety-clackety and make my coworkers hate me. I type fast enough that the shorter travel distance of a membrane keyboard works best for me.

Sounds interesting, but what's the bass response like on those things? I can't imagine it's that's great if the transducers are that small. These headphones are unwieldy, but they have head-shaking bass as well as crystal-clear treble.
