I cop so much crap from Star Trek fanbois for loving Voyager, but it's the absolute best! My partner and I have a policy of at least trying to watch an episode each evening with dinner, energy permitting.
Random question, have you ever seen the movie "The 'Burbs", starring Tom Hanks? One of the two harangued garbage men is played by a young @RobertPicardo, and you can seriously get a bit of an EMH feel off the way he delivers his lines. Dude is a great actor.
