I'm not sure what you mean; if the debug features require a given DIP to be flipped as part of its activation sequence, and can otherwise be enabled solely with valid physical inputs to the game, we're absolutely interested in documenting that.
Thus far, methods of flipping the particular debug bit in-game are unknown without flipping the bit through cheats. The dip switch setting is checked only in that scenario. So basically, the dip does not activate debug, debug is activated and a feature is used if dip is switched.
So if I understand correctly, if you patch a particular byte in memory, the game starts checking the DIP switch in question, and if set, it then activates debug mode?
