Sometimes I get depressed, so I go back to the office at @ArrowheadGS and throw myself into my work. Then I am tired, but at least I am not depressed.

I do the same thing, or connect from home to do some work. While it is effective at getting me out of my funk, I find that I have to be mindful that I'm probably pushing myself too hard at that point.
It could be a sign of that, but context is important. I feel safe and valued at the office, and it's generally a comforting place to be. It's more about the environment for me. That and I can work faster at my desk than on VPN.
