On the whole "broken coffee machine" topic, the tech said it may be due to "people making multiple failed attempts while it still hadn't finished the process", which absolutely shits me as a UI coder, because what kind of trash UI lets users invoke physically destructive actions?

There's a quote from the great Douglas Adams, i used this as my mantra when i used to write software, is reads; "A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools."

I just read that back to myself, not suggesting your a fool, lol! But it's surprising how many things can be screwed up by what seems to be utterly normal actions when a couple of lines of code would have prevented it.
