Thread: Incidentally, after dutifully pissing in a cup and getting my arm treated like a pincushion for two weeks, I finally hit the liver enzyme test values they wanted back in February, and they said they'd finally arrange for an ADHD screening. They didn't.

Sorry, I should say, EVERY two weeks, not FOR two weeks. As in, from October of last year to February of this year. Then they expected me to keep it up. I lasted until June, at which point I realized that if they're not going to give me the support I damn well need, fuck them.

To punish me, they cut off my medication refills at the end of August. Because while it was only the past year that they've prescribed me the autism meds I've been on for TWENTY YEARS, prior even to moving to Sweden, as the most recent to prescribe, they can apparently do that.

Luckily, I've managed to get an appointment with my GP on the 27th of this month, and I have enough of one of my medications - the most important one - to last me until then. But yes. This is what trying to get an ADHD diagnosis is like in Sweden. This is how they treat you.

I was only diagnosed last year. I'm 34 as well. Medication has changed my life. Seriously. I never knew I could be so.....Jessica 2.0

Can I ask you how that transition went? I still Cannot Even and I don't know if it's my dose, my anxiety or if I really do just suck at this point >.>
