Not gonna lie, I adore all of you folks that I follow, but y'all intimidate the heck out of me, because by comparison I kind of feel like a failure. I have retro computers, but don't do anything interesting with them. I have a synthesizer but can't compose.

Ah, that's the depression talking again. I'm going to tell you the same thing I told another guy the other day: You're a smart guy. You should know better than to listen to the depression because you know your thought processes are hopelessly compromised when you're depressed.

Listen to your friends who know you. We're the ones who can tell you that you're absolutely worthwhile and that you should stop beating on yourself. You'll find drive again soon.

I think the same as Artemio, Everyone have different abilities, there are great people that can express their ideas/emotions drawing, composing, writing And others, like me, that consume those goods and enjoy author's point of view You've done great things to emulation community!

Relax! Everyone out there is in the exact same situation! "Famous" people that we follow try their best to show what they are good at, but we never get to see them when they are in a bad mood or feeling like an impostor! 1/2

2/2 MAME was just an Arcade emulator for me, I started following you because of the passion that you show when you tweet about making some obscure old mini-game being available in MAME. And all the posts about circuits/roms/architecture and whatnot. Pat yourself on the back!
