That said, the two can exist harmoniously, with socialist programs ensuring that the hungry get fed, the homeless get housed, the jobless get jobs, the unemployable get UBI, the sick get treatment, and libertarian (Ed.: capitalist) policies ensuring that creatives still get paid.
I would have thought the two to be diametrically opposed in the first place, with libertarian views espousing privatizing as much as feasible, and socialist views espousing making as much as feasible publicly owned, but that's none of my business
