I saw a tweet that inspired me to mention my own personal trans hero: Sophie Wilson. Among numerous other things, she is directly responsible for the original ARM architecture. What uses ARM? Your iPhone. Your Android device (most likely). GBA. DS & 3DS. Switch. Many others.
