You can always talk to me. And I believe its okay to vent. I tend to write on here when I'm feeling shit.
The Internet is such a skewed place, riddled with double standards. Everyone is expected to share the good times with all and sundry, but when you're in pain and deeply hurting, you're expected to just shut up and not tell a soul; there's no place for you.

Oh, I've just been visiting someone I'm really close to up here in Umeå for the past week. It'll be months before we see each other again. I'm sitting at the train station, waiting for the train back to Stockholm, trying not to cry my eyes out here in public. That's about it.

I'm sorry you're in that spot. I've thought long and hard about this and have come to the conclusion that the internet is hardly the place for either my joy or my sorrow. I can't stand the broadcast/news-bulletin approach we've all been having since the dawn of social networks.

I have come to cherish one on one communication with people that actually, deeply know me or are sincerely interested in getting to know me and I've realized that, in the end, social networks have pushed us away from that "model" of communication.
