Last night in MSQ roulette, a party member complained that the Hrothgar were a bad race. Half of the party was Hrothgar and immediate offense was taken. By the time we reached Gaius, a Thundercats macro was already put together for the start of pulls. #ffxiv

This kind of actually makes me want to play FFXIV again. I bailed on playing when the game forced me to party with people, and the first group I found excoriated me for not knowing the obscure acronyms they were flinging at me.
Basically I would love it if I could party with people who would be understanding as to the fact that I am a newbie and, shockingly, did not exit my mother's womb 34 years ago with innate knowledge of every obscure concept in FFXIV.
