Hmm, you took that in a very different direction than I intended it. My point was that Trump (and his associates) trying to put country of origin as a qualifier for what it means to be "American" is very biased and they wouldn't like it if it were applied to them.

But I also see your point and agree. We can't just pretend that race or cultural origins don't exist. I'm just concerned by ancestry having anything to do with being an "American" because Trump/Miller are certainly implying that "American" is limited to "European American".
