Is anyone here familiar with the Bolt CMS? I can't for the life of me figure out how to embed an image or image(s) in my blog post.

Yeah, I use it on my site. First upload an image, then it will be on the "stack." You should be able to choose the image from the WYSIWYG editor image icon.

Ahh that's probably why. In the config you need to choose elements are available in the editor. One sec, lemme check mine.

Okay, yeah, in the Main Configuration, check the 'wysiwyg' section and make sure 'images' is true along with anything else you want to enable. I have no idea why something so basic is disabled by default in Bolt. I love everything else about it.

You might also want to check the 'allowed_tags' section and make sure there aren't any HTML tags you want to use that are banned. If I remember correctly PRE was not allowed which gave me trouble at first...

You're the best! That's exactly what I was missing, thanks! One last question (hopefully) - my screenshots are 1280x1024, and obviously I wouldn't want to have something that big inline with the text. I'm not seeing an obvious way of making the image smaller + clickable. Ideas?

In the image properties (double click the image in the editor) you can specify the width/height. Note that it is resized by the browser so it will still transfer the full file size.
