Speaking as a member of the MAME team, since you're planning to make coin off our collective good name, we're owed that information now, not at a later date.
Let me be perfectly blunt: Versions of MAME prior to 0.172 were released under a license that flatly forbade commercial use. Versions from 0.172 onward were released under a combined license, with portions of the codebase released under 3-clause BSD and GPLv2+.

Based on your price point, you've either found a legendary SoC that can run a modern version of MAME, or you're using a pre-0.172 version of MAME, which you are not legally permitted to do. I hope it's the former.

If it is indeed the former, then I hope you are well aware that certain portions of the codebase, namely the Yamaha FM sound cores, are licensed under GPLv2+, and as such you are legally obligated to release any and all source code modifications.
